At the end of 2016, the Chester County Emergency Services Recruitment & Retention Committee released a survey to obtain data as to what issues were facing local Chester County emergency responders. The survey asked what they enjoyed about volunteering, what the hurdles were and what they feel could entice new volunteers. After the close of the survey, the attached report was compiled. It is hopeful that this will help all the emergency response organizations in Chester County with their local efforts in recruitment and retention.
